| The Security Comittee within Kenmure play an important part in our daily lives. They are responsible for all security from the gatehouse throughout our community. They spend many hours each year keeping Kenmure a safe and comfortable place to live
Rescheduled Garbage Pickup
During the ice storm at the end of January 2004, there was some confusion about communicating to residents when our garbage contractor, GDS, would do the rescheduled garbage pickup. As a result, we have worked with GDS to establish an improved communication approach so that the Security & Garbage Committee and the Gatehouse are notified when garbage pickup will be cancelled or curtailed and rescheduled due to bad weather. Once we get this information from GDS, we will communicate it to residents via the email network and the emergency information telephone line. Normal procedure is that if GDS must cancel or curtail pickup on our regular day (Monday); they will come back the following day (weather permitting
