| The Quality of Life Committee (QOL) was established by the Kenmure Homeowners Association in August, 1996. The Committee’s objectives are:
To enhance the sense of community in Kenmure
To encourage continued wellness and vitality of our residents
To offer assistance to residents in times of illness, inclement weather or other emergencies
Programs offered through the Quality of Life Committee;
INFORMATIONAL PRESENTATIONS
Throughout the year we will have presentations on various subjects such as health and nutrition, exercise programs, finance, and other fields of interest to Kenmure homeowners.
RUOK (Are You OK?)
This is a program for residents who live alone. When a dangerous storm is predicted, we would like each person who resides alone to have contact with a specific neighbor or friend before the weather event occurs. This way, contingency plans can be made, supplies purchased, and the means of maintaining contact established.
RUOK Chairpersons – Janet and David Keierleber – 595-4306
HELPING HANDS
This is a program which offers short term assistance to anyone needing care or assistance in times of accident or illness, or for some reason is unable to pick up necessary items such as medicines or groceries. We have a list of Kenmure volunteers willing to help in these situations.
